Two CDVs of Union Soldier from the 27th Pennsylvania Infantry

Two Carte de Visite (CDV) photographs depicting a Union soldier from the 27th Pennsylvania Infantry. Both images feature Philadelphia photographer backmarks and present a clear, well-defined portrait of a Union officer wearing infantry insignia with the regimental number “27.” The photographs exhibit strong detail and are excellent examples of Civil War–era portrait photography.
