Rare Double 1/4 Plate Tintype of Virginia Civil War Camp Dated 1863. In the image is a dozen or so military tents and various camp items laying around as well as other buildings. In one of the images is a man standing outside of a tent. While we are unsure whether the man is a Civilian, the photographer, or a Reb it adds some great detail to the two photos which are of the same line of tents just different angles. On the back of one image is also a signed 1863 tax stamp. Don’t miss out on this rare image!
