Nov 25th 1862.

My Dear Sisters:

I have just been down to Harpers Ferry (and saw Franz Sigel and his wife had two hours conversation [with?] know all de plans for de Army) as our Dutchman would say, & I have had my picture taken and think it first rate if you like it why share it. The one that gets my picture all right, the other must take her share of love. As I had not money enough for two. but think I promised Enst for she asked long ago I will have one taken as soon as pay day comes. Kiss me Sisters. Good night.
