1/9th Plate Tintype of Newly Enlisted Southern Recruit

1/9th Plate Tintype of A Newly Enlisted Southern Recruit! This image has a lot to take in from the ID tag in the back to Model 1816 Rifle. Unfortunately I have had no luck with being able to find a direct ID to any name attached to a regiment but it does appear to be missing some letters to the name. What I have been able to find is there is a published image of a 1/9th plate Virginia Soldier with an identical pose holding the same Model 1816 as well as having the same photo mat. There is uncanny similarities between the two leading me to believe this photo was likely shot in the same studio by the same photographer. Leading me to believe we are looking at a freshly recruited Confederate Virginian.
